The Adams County Office of Emergency Management (OEM) works with multiple local partners to develop and maintain capabilities to prepare for, respond to, and recover from disasters. All of our partners provide support to the resiliency of our community. The committees, organizations and groups that the OEM works with are often open to the public (*)
- Adams County Amateur Radio Emergency Service (ARES) (*) - ARES is an organization of licensed amateur radio operators that provide volunteer communication services when requested.
- Adams County Economic Development (ACED) - ACED is a private nonprofit economic development agency that helps to provide businesses with resources, financing, real estate development, research and demographics, regulatory support, and grant help for businesses considering relocation or expansion.
- Adams County Communications Center (Adcom911) - Adcom911 is the emergency services (police, fire and EMS) communications link for much of the Adams County area.
- Adams County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Council - The Adams County EMS Council is composed of emergency medical service providers, hospital representatives and others with interest in pre-hospital care issues on the local and state levels.
- Adams-Jeffco Hazardous Materials Response Authority - The Adams-Jeffco Hazardous Materials Response Authority is an autonomous government entity created through an intergovernmental agreement (IGA) between the two counties and run by a board of directors.
- East I-70 Corridor Public Safety Group (*) - The East I-70 Corridor Public Safety Group was established to provide training and share resources between all member emergency service departments and further communication and cooperation with business members and concerned citizens of the corridor.
- Rampart Search and Rescue (*) - Rampart SAR is a national volunteer search and rescue team that is headquartered in Adams County.
- Tri-County Health Department (TCHD) - TCHD has adopted the mission to protect, promote and improve the health, environment and quality of life for the residents of Adams, Arapahoe and Douglas counties.
- Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) (*) - The LEPC is a federally mandated program that charges States to identify local districts (Adams County) with the responsibility for hazardous materials planning, community right-to-know, and the collecting of regulatory reporting requirements. The LEPC is volunteer based committee with local representatives from many disciplines including fire, law enforcement, emergency management, elected officials, citizens, and business and industry.
